Jeff Burchfield

Prior to joining Beard Kultgen Brophy Bostwick & Dickson, PLLC, Jeff Burchfield served as the Chief Legal Officer for Nutraceutical Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of vitamins, minerals, and supplements with international operations.  Prior to Nutraceutical Corporation, Mr. Burchfield served as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel for Jenny Craig, a leading weight loss company operating over 600 locations in North American and Oceania at the time. Prior to Jenny Craig, Mr. Burchfield was the Vice President and General Counsel of Curves International, Inc., an international franchisor of fitness clubs who at the time operated in over 80 countries. Mr. Burchfield also previously practiced in the finance and commercial litigation sections at Haynes and Boone, LLP in their Houston office. 

Mr. Burchfield’s many years of in-house legal experience give him a unique perspective and business focused approach.  He has guided companies in their domestic and international expansion, acquisitions, restructures, and the development and implementation of sound legal practices and controls.  He has led multiple company sales processes on behalf of buyer and seller. Most of his career has been in private equity owned companies.

Jeff and his wife Amy reside in Waco with their three children, Ethan, Evan and Ellie Kate.
