Beard Kultgen Brophy Bostwick & Dickson, LLP Combines with Fraley & Fraley, LLP

Beard Kultgen Brophy Bostwick & Dickson, LLP announced today its acquisition of Fraley & Fraley, LLP. A Dallas law firm with significant courtroom experience, the joinder of Fraley & Fraley bolsters Beard Kultgen’s offerings to business and individual clients, broadens its talent, strengthens its connection to Baylor Law School, enabling the Firm to provide greater support to its clients with an added Dallas office.

Elizabeth M. Fraley will continue her practice from the Waco and Dallas offices while Heather A. Kanny and Courtney M. Boes will be based in the Dallas office. R. Scott Fraley plans to serve as an arbitrator in health care and insurance law matters. The Dallas office is located in the Bank of America Plaza at 901 Main Street, Suite 6300, and the Waco office is located downtown at 220 South Fourth Street. The Dallas office will continue to use the assumed name Fraley & Fraley LLP.

Liz and Scott combine some 47 years’ experience trying lawsuits relating to medical malpractice, business and commercial disputes, and other legal areas. Liz has tried more than 50 civil jury trials and acts as a mediator. Scott is highly regarded as a legal writer, and he also serves as a health care arbitrator. Heather and Courtney have worked at Fraley & Fraley for several years, polishing their skills in handling complex litigation and health care matters.

Like Beard Kultgen, the Fraley & Fraley lawyers have strong connections to Baylor Law School as professors and graduates. In 2015, Liz became an assistant professor of law at Baylor, teaching in its prestigious “practice court” program. Scott began serving as Baylor’s director of legal writing in 2015. Heather and Courtney are graduates of Baylor Law School.

The addition of the Fraley & Fraley team brings to 18 the number of Beard Kultgen lawyers in Waco and Dallas.
